The Hoshizaki SR48B-18MD4 prep table offers a 48-inch width capable of storing 18 sixth-size pans in the top section. These pans keep sandwich and salad ingredients, such as prepped produce, meats, and cheese within comfortable reach of the operator. For slicing, dicing, or skinning the items needed, this unit's top offers a 1/2-inch-thick polycarbonate cutting board. Another practical addition is the top-placed cover, which is insulated to lock in the cold and keep sandwich and salad toppings fresh. The base of this unit is supplied with four drawers fitted to 16-gauge stainless steel drawer slides, providing these drawers the potential to store a dynamic 175-pound capacity. The top and bottom drawers can hold a half-size pan and third-size pan (not included) to hold additional inventory to top off the display when needed.
